First of all, if the self-timer unit is on your camera, it has to be taken off. (You can skip this page if your camera doesn't have one.)
To lock the self-timer, pull down its lever and then, following the picture above, put a screwdriver on it and unscrew it counterclockwise.
We suggest to use the screwdriver of the right size to the screw when you do this.
